Heating Oil

Heating Oil produced by MOL Group is used mainly for energetic purposes in so many fields. The product is a mixture of the atmospheric and vacuum distillated, cathalitic-cracked and desulphurised gasoils.

The energy released during the combustion of the heating oil is used for heating purposes in the agriculture or in several industry and for hot-water production.

In line with the European Union’s regulation we offer heating oils with sulphur content of below 0.001% by weight. With 10 ppm sulphur content the products provide longer lifetime for the furnace systems and fit into the more and more environmentally friendly concept of energy generation.

During the development of MOL Group Heating Oils we not just follow the international requirements and technical standards but the feedbacks and user-experience of our customers.

Fulfilling the requirements

Due to the different treating and mixing method of the refined blending components our wide product portfolio offers many solution for our customers.

And even more

Products are treated with special modern and functional additives like:

  • Cold flow improvers: to ensure the smooth operation during cold conditions in winter period
  • Demulsifier: to prevent water accumulation

Also in packaging, transportation and storage

Heating oil is delivered in rail tankers, road tankers and in tanker barges. It is stored in closed containers. The full regulations for packaging, transport and storage are also specified in high-quality standards and regulations.
