Group Oilfield Services organization enforces and supports the oilfield services (OFS) companies of MOL Group: Geoinform, Crosco, Rotary. The aim of these companies is to operate according to the best available industry practices, in the most cost efficient manner, along centrally coordinated and standardised processes in order to deliver consistent quality while exploiting the potential synergies and to provide services which is compatible with the requirements of MOL Group Exploration&Production’s operations in Hungary, Croatia, regionally and worldwide.
The above mentioned service companies are covering the Drilling, Workover, Pressure pumping, Cementing and stimulation, Coiled tubing and Nitrogen, Tubular handling, Well test, Slickline, Wireline Mud logging and Seismic Data Processing service lines.
From 2017, the OFS organization is also directly in charge of managing the Geothermal Pilot Company, CEGE Ltd. (Central European Geothermal Energy), 100% MOL Group owned subsidiary. In 2017 significant cost rationalization and operation optimization programs were successfully implemented, resulting 25% overhead cost reduction across all MOL Group OFS companies.
The strategic goals for the future are to find more synergies within the companies’ service lines, and to continuously expand the core business in the CEE region and globally, with the support of rig fleet modernization, and competency improvement programs.
