MOL broadens access to the Polish capital market through successful PLN bond issuance

MOL Group has successfully completed a PLN-denominated bond issuance on the Polish market, raising PLN 850 million through a 5-year bond. The transaction marks another important milestone in the company's long-term financing strategy, further supporting its financial strength through diversified funding sources and broader access to local and international investors.

The issuance builds on MOL Group's established presence in Poland and reflects the company's confidence in the depth and maturity of the Polish capital market, while further strengthening access to local investors. It also complements the company's longstanding presence on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and its engagement with Poland's financial market ecosystem.

Our inaugural bond issuance in Poland marks a key step in the execution of our diversified funding strategy. Following our presence in the Hungarian and Croatian local debt capital markets as well as our retail network footprint in Poland, it is a natural next step to access the Polish capital market. Strong demand and an oversubscribed book reflect investor confidence in MOL Group and the transaction supports our long-term financial flexibility,” said Ákos Székely, PhD, MOL Group CFO.

The proceeds of the issuance will support MOL Group's general corporate financing needs.

The bond is expected to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the coming months.
