MOL started to gradually ramp up production in the Danube refinery
MOL Plc. (“MOL”) hereby notifies the market of the following:
MOL initiated a planned shutdown of the Danube refinery in the first half of October 2022. During the restart it was realised that further maintenance was necessary on the Mild Hydrocrack – Hydrogen Desulphurisation Unit (MHCK-HDS) as well as other units. Following the completion of the maintenance works, the restart of the HDS unit has been done. As a result, MOL started the gradual ramp up of crude processing. Full capacity utilisation is expected to be reached in a couple of weeks.
MOL remains committed to maintaining security of supply from own products, however securing full market supply can not be ensured without the ramp up of product imports in the current environment.
