MOL has received new U.S. approval to continue NIS negotiations
MOL today received an official license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (“OFAC”) to continue negotiations on the purchase of a majority shareholding of Naftna Industrija Srbije a.d. (“NIS”) until 16 June 2026.
MOL Plc. (“MOL”) hereby notifies the capital markets of the following:
MOL today received an official license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (“OFAC”) to continue negotiations on the purchase of a majority shareholding of Naftna Industrija Srbije a.d. (“NIS”) until 16 June 2026.
Following a license extension granted on 22 May 2026, negotiations have progressed materially and the current additional license extension allows for the finalization of transaction documentation.
